The location, while not in the city center, proved convenient with a mere 2-minute walk to the Daumesnil metro station, allowing for easy access to Paris's main attractions within 20 minutes.Housekeeping at the hotel was satisfactory, ensuring cleanliness throughout my 8-night stay. The newly renovated bathrooms were a pleasant surprise, offering more space than typical Parisian hotels. The inclusion of a kettle for making tea and coffee in the room added a homey touch, while the quick and efficient elevator was a practical amenity.As for the drawbacks, the room size was compact, and the firmness of the bed may not suit all preferences. However, the continental breakfast provided a good variety of options.In conclusion, Grand Hotel Dore strikes a balance between affordability and luxury, making it a suitable choice for those seeking comfort and convenience without breaking the bank.
